Overview
The University of Alabama installed WaitTime at Bryant-Denny Stadium and Coleman Coliseum, two multi-purpose venues that have over 900,000 attendees annually. WaitTime’s full deployment is over 120 cameras mounted above gates, concessions, restrooms to track queues across the venue. This coverage allows operators to use real-time analytics and insights to find ways to operate more efficiently and improve the fan experience.
Why WaitTime
WaitTime helped the University of Alabama turn crowd data into measurable operational improvements. By providing real-time visibility into gate, concession, and restroom traffic, the venue was able to optimize staffing, reduce bottlenecks, improve fan throughput, and maximize revenue opportunities during peak periods. The result was a more efficient operation, a better fan experience, and actionable data to support future growth and event hosting.

"Ingress, or waiting in line at gates, went from one of our biggest complaints to now not even being in the top 10," Harris said. "Just within one season."
“By breaking down the anatomy of this queue and the science of movement, they can start to make a lot of operational decisions for different concession placements, different revenue strategies, different A-B testing when it comes to how different types of designs will affect the flow of people.”
